May/June Exam Schedule

Student Expectations

★      Minimum writing time of 80 minutes.  All students must remain in the designated exam room until the end of that time.

★      Students will come prepared for their exams ie; pencil/pen, eraser, calculator, water bottle…

Study Hall

★      A supervised Study Hall will be located in Room 224 (Flex Room) throughout Exam Week. Any students wishing to have a dedicated quiet place to study may use this room throughout the week.

What to Expect for PDE’s (Provincial Diploma Exams - Gr.12/30 Level Courses)

MC (Multiple Choice), NR (Numerical Response), and/or WR (Written Response)

★      Please Note: Government Exams (PDE’s) have specified writing times that vary for each exam. These will be clearly communicated to students at the beginning of each exam writing session.

★      ELA 30-1/-2  - Part-A: consists of WR, and Part-B: MC covers all related outcomes from the course.

★     Physics 30 - Covers all Physics 30 outcomes. Questions will consist of MC and NR.

★      Biology 30 - Covers all Biology 30 outcomes. Questions will consist of MC and NR.

What to Expect for PAT’s (Provincial Achievement Exams - Gr. 9)

MC (Multiple Choice), NR (Numerical Response), and/or WR (Written Response)

★      Please Note: Government Exams (PAT’s) have specified writing times that vary for each exam. These will be clearly communicated to students at the beginning of each exam writing session.

What to Expect for School Based Final Exams

MC (Multiple Choice), NR (Numerical Response), and/or WR (Written Response)

★      Students will be writing a comprehensive final exam. Questions may be MC,  and/or WR (depending on the specific course).

★      Students may have up to an additional 80 minutes to complete their exam.
