DUE TO INCLEMMENT WEATHER, MOVIE NIGHT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8TH.
Greetings Glendon School Families!
The grades 4, 5 and 6 students are hosting this year’s first Movie Night on Friday, December 2!
What is the Movie Night for?
This movie night will be a fundraiser for the end of the year field trip to Edmonton for these grades. The money raised will help pay for the transportation as we are all traveling together.
What movie will we watch?
The movie we will watch is a Christmas film chosen by you! A Google Form will be posted on the Glendon School website and Facebook page and an email will be shared with the parents via SchoolMessenger this week and you can vote for your top pick. If you vote on a movie, your name will be entered into a draw to for a chance to win a prize that will be announced on the movie night. The movie with the most votes will be the one we watch. We will not be charging admission to attend the movie, however, donations are appreciated!
How will we raise money?
To raise money, we will be selling snacks and drinks as well as a variety of treats supplied by the grade 4, 5 and 6 families for a bake sale.
What time does the Movie Night start?
Doors will open at 6:45 pm and the movie will start at 7:00 pm.
